The signals, scoring and rules behind every Graded Picks guide.
Graded Picks exists to answer one question per category: which products are actually worth buying right now? Instead of publishing dozens of loosely ordered listings, we grade the genuine contenders in each category into a single ranked lineup, cap every guide at a handful of products, and update the lineups as the market moves. This page explains how a product earns its place.
Every product's grade is built from several independent signals, so no single source can carry a weak product to the top:
Those signals combine into a cumulative Graded Picks score on a 10-point scale, which we display as the star grade you see on every product card. The score - not any single retailer's star average, and never a sponsorship - decides the ranking order on the page.
Each guide covers a fixed, small lineup (typically six to eight products) rather than an endless list. If a product is not good enough to rank, it does not appear at all.
Every guide highlights at most three picks:
Beyond the badges, every review spells out who a product is for and who should skip it, including the honest trade-offs.
Prices, deals and availability are refreshed continually, and the lineup itself is re-checked against the market. When a product is discontinued or falls out of contention it is removed and the lineup is re-ranked; the "Updated" date on each guide moves when something real changes, not as a marketing trick.
Rankings on Graded Picks cannot be bought and editorial opinions are our own. We participate in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates program, which means we may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no additional cost to you. Commissions fund the research; they never influence how products are graded or ranked, and no brand can pay for placement, a badge, or a better grade.
If anything looks off in a guide - a spec, a price, a product that deserves a second look - tell us. Reach the team via our contact page or at info@gradedpicks.com.
